Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your full Hanlo account and associated server data in the app. If you cannot sign in, you can request deletion by email.

Delete In The App

1. Open Hanlo and go to Profile.
2. Open Login & security.
3. Choose Delete account and review the consequences.
4. Confirm Delete account.
5. Keep the request ID shown by the app until Hanlo account deletion and provider follow-up are complete.

Request Without App Access

Email support@hanlo.app from the address associated with the account and use the subject "Account deletion request." Include only the email or user id needed to identify the account. We may ask you to complete a proportionate identity-verification step before deletion.

What The Process Deletes

• Hanlo authentication identity and profile details;
• teaching conversations, AI learning memory, saved plans, progress, practice evidence, reviews, feedback, and usage records associated with the account;
• Hanlo entitlement records and the RevenueCat customer record; and
• private model audio generated for your account and any remaining server audio linked to your account.

When deletion starts, access to your account and private model audio is blocked. The app shows completion after Hanlo's required account data, stored audio, authentication identity, and subscription records have been deleted. We also request deletion from other providers that process associated data for us. Those requests may remain in progress after the app shows completion. Contact support@hanlo.app with your request ID for the status of provider follow-up.

On-Device Data

On the device where you confirm deletion, Hanlo attempts to remove its local speaking-practice recordings and learner-specific setup preferences. Hanlo cannot remotely reach recordings left on another device. Clear Hanlo app storage or uninstall the app on each other device to remove those local recordings.

Limited Retention

We may retain the minimum records required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, security, legal claims, or store compliance, and will restrict them to those purposes. The app store may separately retain purchase records under its own policy.

We retain limited deletion and follow-up records to prevent deleted accounts from being restored, track requests, and respond to questions. Backup copies expire through the backup retention cycle rather than being erased immediately when you delete your account.

Subscription

Account deletion does not automatically cancel an active app-store subscription. Cancel it in the subscription settings of the store account used for purchase.
