Terms of Service

Hanlo is operated by 惠州市云泉科技有限公司. These terms govern your use of Hanlo. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.

Eligibility And Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract.
• You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and must promptly report suspected unauthorised access.
• You may request a portable data export or account deletion. If you have an app-store subscription, deleting Hanlo does not by itself cancel it.

The Service

Hanlo provides AI teacher conversations, scene-based lessons, generated model audio, local speaking practice, saved learning plans, and optional paid features. Speaking-practice recordings remain on your device and are not uploaded, transcribed, or scored.

AI Transparency And Reports

Teaching replies are generated by AI and are identified as such in the app. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate and do not provide an official language score, certification, professional translation, or medical, legal, immigration, academic, or employment advice. Use the report control on an AI reply if you find it unsafe, offensive, or incorrect.

Your Content

You retain ownership of prompts, reports, and other content you submit. You grant Hanlo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and support the service and comply with law. Do not submit content you lack the right to use.

Hanlo Content And Licence

Hanlo and its licensors own the app, software, design, trademarks, lessons, and other service materials. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service for lawful personal language learning while these terms apply.

Acceptable Use

• Do not break the law, violate another person's rights, or submit harmful, abusive, deceptive, or infringing content.
• Do not probe security, bypass limits or access controls, interfere with service operation, scrape at scale, or access another user's data.
• Do not reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Do not use Hanlo to create malware, facilitate wrongdoing, impersonate others, or make high-impact decisions about people.

Subscriptions, Cancellation, And Refunds

Google Play purchases are not enabled in this release. If paid plans become available, the checkout screen will show the controlling price, currency, tax, billing period, trial eligibility, and renewal date. Cancellation and refund requests must be managed through the store that processed the purchase. These terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights. See the Subscription Terms for details.

Changes, Suspension, And Termination

We may change or discontinue features, limits, or content. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, non-payment, or a material breach. Where required, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to export data or appeal.

Disclaimers And Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Hanlo is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties that it will be uninterrupted or error free. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.

Applicable Law And Disputes

The law and courts that apply depend on the Hanlo contracting entity and mandatory protections in your place of residence. Before filing a formal claim, contact support@hanlo.app so we can try to resolve the issue informally. This does not restrict a consumer's right to use an available regulator, court, or dispute-resolution body.
